Use the birthday card maker for a greeting, not a generic design project
This birthday card maker begins with birthday-specific authored artwork and a scene intended for a personal name, short message and optional portrait. The starting arrangement is fully inspectable. Select a decoration, text block, photo or logo and use visible controls to move, resize, rotate, reorder, duplicate, change opacity or delete it. Choosing the template again restores its documented defaults, so experimentation remains reversible.
This route makes a digital greeting image. It is not an invitation manager: there are no RSVP fields, guest lists, event pages, calendar responses or scheduled delivery. It also does not turn the canvas into a print order with fold, bleed, trim, envelope or postage claims. Those workflows require facts that a reopened PNG or JPEG cannot prove.
Keep the birthday photo proportional and choose the crop deliberately
Contain shows the complete source inside its frame. Cover fills the frame and may remove an edge, so horizontal and vertical focus let you protect the important face or object. Neither mode stretches the original ratio. The preview shows the same scene plan used for export, making an accidental crop visible before the card becomes a file.
An optional logo can be useful for a team, school or customer greeting. A supported local logo is a real layer with its own size, angle, order and opacity, not a remote brand lookup. Transparent pixels remain meaningful while layers are composed. Unsafe vector content, unsupported formats and animation are rejected explicitly rather than quietly using a first frame or executing markup.
Use a named canvas as a starting point, then inspect the whole scene
For a square post, the dated canvas is 1080 by 1080 pixels. Portrait uses 1080 by 1350, while story uses 1080 by 1920. Both the landscape share image and blog hero measure 1200 by 630. The compact options are a 660-by-220 email header and a 600-by-200 signature. None is a universal safe-area promise: an app, inbox or theme can still resize, crop, compress or block the artwork. Custom sides begin at 64 pixels.
Changing from a square to a tall canvas can alter available space even when every layer keeps its proportions. The editor therefore treats a ratio change as a visible layout step, not a background preference. Check the name, message, faces, crop focus, decoration order and logo position again before rendering. The receipt records the selected preset and exact pixel dimensions rather than just saying “social.”
Download a clean PNG or JPEG without a mandatory credit
PNG protects crisp type and flat graphic edges from JPEG artifacts. JPEG can be smaller for photo-heavy cards and exposes its quality setting. The browser reopens the encoded result and checks its format and dimensions before the download is accepted. File size, layer count, photo placement and reopen state remain available as an audit receipt. Both engines draw letterforms from the pinned DejaVu Sans Mono 2.37.3 outline file. If it lacks a requested character, the editor reports that character instead of substituting a local system face.
A CreatorValet credit or watermark is off by default. It may only be added as a visible, explicit opt-in layer and is never a condition for a clean export. Template art and fonts are bundled with documented sources, licenses and hashes rather than scraped stock or an unclear AI-generated asset. What you see in the scene is what belongs in the artifact.
Choose another maker only when the occasion changes
For neutral greetings, Thanksgiving or summer messages, use the general greeting card maker. For seasonal Christmas and neutral holiday art, use the Christmas card maker. These routes share an editor but start from different documented families; they are not aliases that hide the same landing copy behind a new URL.
The OG image generator is narrower in another direction: it creates page-metadata artwork with a fixed headline schema. Birthday cards own free greeting layers and personal occasion templates. If a logo first needs a transparent edge, prepare it in the transparent background maker and inspect that result before adding it here.
Names and family photos stay local while you create
The selected photo, logo, birthday message, layer positions and generated image remain in this browser tab. They are not uploaded, stored in the URL, written to persistent browser storage or sent to analytics. Cancel and Start over terminate pending work, revoke temporary previews and prevent an older render from replacing the newest scene.
A local tool cannot protect a card after you publish or email it. Review the reopened result for private names, faces and workplace marks before sharing. The local-processing verification guide explains how to observe the creation boundary. This version intentionally excludes hosting, direct email, print fulfillment, AI generation, GIF and video instead of overstating unfinished features.
Questions
Can I put a name and photo on the birthday card?
Yes. Edit the birthday message and add one local photo. You can place, resize, rotate, reorder, duplicate, or remove supported layers, and choose contain or cover with crop focus for the photo without stretching it.
Is this also a birthday invitation maker?
No. This route makes a digital birthday greeting image. It does not manage RSVP details, guest lists, event pages, invitations, scheduled delivery, printing, folding, envelopes, or postage.
Will the exported card contain a watermark?
No watermark or CreatorValet credit is enabled by default. A credit can only be added as a visible, explicit opt-in layer. The standard PNG or JPEG is a clean artifact containing the layers shown in the scene.
Can I resize the birthday card for email or social media?
The editor offers named, dated output presets plus custom dimensions. Changing proportions is a visible scene operation rather than a hidden crop. Review every layer and photo focus in the exact preview before exporting for a destination.
Does the birthday photo leave my device?
No. Photo and logo bytes, names, messages, scene state, rendering, and downloads stay in this tab. The tool has no upload, account, remote stock search, AI generation, hosted card, or analytics payload containing your design.
